NSE Holidays in 2024



The National Stock Exchange (NSE) is India's largest and most prominent stock exchange, ranking as the 10th largest in the world with a market capitalization exceeding US$ 3.4 trillion.


The NSE operates smoothly throughout the year, opening for trading from 9:15 AM to 3:30 PM during normal weekday sessions. Each session lasts for 6 hours and 15 minutes. Note that the NSE is closed on Saturdays and Sundays, and no trading occurs in the equity sector, equity derivative segment, and SLB segment during these weekend holidays.


Additionally, specific national and cultural holidays exist when the NSE does not operate. Below is a detailed list of the trading holidays for the year 2024 for the Equity Segment, Equity Derivative Segment, and SLB Segment:
